Overview

Lan Ty Valley is located in Huu Lien special-use forest, Huu Lung, Lang Son. Completely isolated from the outside world, the valley will be a precious emerald green lake in the rainy season and turn into a beautiful grassland in the dry season.

The journey to conquer Lan Ty is a wonderful combination of experiences: trekking to explore special-use forests, cave exploration, mountain climbing, fire-setting, SUP rowing and especially Abseiling from the top of the mountain to the “eye of the gods” .

The first roped expedition in the north, you will be supported by leading experts from Vietnam Expeditions along with imported equipment of international standards.

This is a journey for those who have a passion for discovery, a desire to conquer to have experiences that you will never forget.

Itinerary

18:00: Tour guide picks up guests at Vietnam Expeditions office (here guests can borrow shoes).

18:30: The car picks you up and departs for Huu Lien – Huu Lung – Lang Son. 21:00: Arrive at the homestay, check in, have a late night snack if you are hungry (at your own expense). The members of the group meet and get to know each other before the trip.

22:30: Go to bed.

06:00: Tour guide wakes up the whole group to do personal hygiene and have breakfast.
07:30: Tour guide distributes necessary equipment to guests, porter receives guests’ belongings.
08:00: Safety leader will train the whole group on basic techniques of using equipment.
09:00: After the tour guide introduces the itinerary and gives instructions on important points, the whole group gets on the bus and moves to the starting point (in Yen Thinh commune) for trekking to Hang Oc.
11:30: Arrive at Oc Cave. Everyone has lunch and rests (bring food).
12:30: The group begins the journey to explore the 3 floors of Oc Cave: explore the beautiful stalactite system in the cave and witness the fossilization process of mountain snails after death.
14:30: The group leaves Oc Cave and returns to the campsite.
16:00: Back to the campsite, everyone rests, paddles SUP to explore Lan Ty Lake. Swims in the lake.
17:30: Go ashore to change clothes and rest
18:00: Dinner with local specialties.
20:00: Chat, play werewolf,… and rest.

06:00: Wake up, wash up, have breakfast.
07:00: Prepare equipment to climb Thung Lan Ty Mountain.
08:30: After a difficult journey through steep slopes and cliffs, with the support of safety assistants, everyone will reach the top of Mat Than Mountain (Nui Thung) Lan Ty.
09:00: Start the Abseiling challenge from the top of the mountain to “The Eye of God” – You will receive a medal after conquering the challenge.
11:00: Return to camp, rest, have lunch.
13:00: Trekking back.
15:00: Out of the forest, rest, bathe in the waterfall.
16:00: Get on the bus back to Hanoi. End of trip
