Itinerary
Morning Adventure: Trekking and Abseiling
9:30: Gather at our office to revice all safety gear and itinerary.
10:00: We set off through Cat Ba National Park, surrounded by lush greenery. The trail leads us to our first abseiling point.
11:00: Golden Monkey Mountain:
After conquering the valley, we venture deeper into the jungle. The path leads us to the summit of Golden Monkey Mountain.
At the top, behold a 360-degree panorama of the secret lagoon below. Limestone peaks rise from the emerald waters, creating a breathtaking vista.
11:30: Abseiling 1:
Ready to challenge yourself to abseiling from top of the mountain to Lunchspot (more adventure to conquered the cliff with 40m down).
12:30: Enjoy a delicious lunch with the lagoon as your backdrop. Let the beauty of nature fuel your appetite. Feel the sea breeze and listen to the forest’s whispers.
Afternoon Adventure: Abseiling, Kayaking and Cave Exploration
13:30: Abseiling 2:
Buckle up for an adrenaline pumping! Abseiling down to lagoon and land on the floating deck, where more excitement awaits.
14:30: Kayaking Adventure
Grab a kayak and explore the lagoon’s hidden corners. Paddle past limestone karsts and marvel at the unique ecosystem.
Discover secret caves tucked into the mountain walls.
16:00:
Return to the floating deck. The sun casts a warm glow over the water.
Swim, float, or simply soak in the tranquility.
We’ll serve cool drinks to quench your thirst.
Pack up and trekking back to starting point.
17:30:
The bus awaits at the pick-up point.
Reflect on a day filled with adventure, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. Return to your hotel, carrying the spirit of Cat Ba with you.
18:00: Return to the hotel, wash off the dust, and ready to explore the nightlife of Cat Ba.
19:30: Savor a local, fresh meal for dinner.
21:30: Feel free to explore. Make sure to enjoy a safe, healthy time and get enough rest to keep going!
6:30: Breakfast: Enjoy your breakfast in the early morning beat of Cat Ba life. A small breakfast will set you up for a busy day.
7:30: Return to the hotel lobby, where the driver will be waiting to assist you in reaching the forest gate as soon as feasible. One of Cat Ba’s two most exquisite and picturesque routes, the cross-island route, will be traversed by the vehicle. Say hello to the forest for the second time and take in the fresh air at the start of the day. The destination is the mountain-through-cave Trung Trang Cave. Each stalactite block that has formed over thousands of years is visible, as are the aquatic animals (snails, crabs, etc.) that call this place home and the variations in temperature from the outside. Take a look around with all of your senses!
8:30: Challenge your mind with a forest road through Cat Ba National Forest, witness the continual topography-geomorphology variations caused by the rainy and dry seasons, and view the rich Tropical Humid Monsoon ecosystem that is available and abundant. Imagine taking your first steps through this woodland thousands of years ago.
12:00: After a long day of trekking, stop for lunch in Viet Hai fishing town to refuel for the afternoon.
13:00: Take the tram to the Viet Hai wharf. The 4 kilometer drive will take you to Viet Hai pier. The quiet road represents the real pace of life here.
13:30: Board a private boat to explore Lan Ha Bay. Say goodbye to the mountains and hello to the water; Lan Ha Bay has approximately 400 islands and 139 beautiful golden sand beaches to explore. The breathtaking backdrop, beautiful blue ocean, and gentle waves in the secluded bay will make you want to let your spirit float on the waves forever.
15:00: Arrive at Beo habour; the transportation is already waiting there.
15:30: Back at the Cat Ba Pathfinders office, you’ve completed a full round around the Cat Ba archipelago. Be proud of your outstanding records and share them as much as possible when you return home.
16:00: End of journey; board the bus back to Hanoi. Bring these unforgettable memories back into your daily life, remember Cat Ba!
