Itinerary
- 06:00 AM: Our comfortable vehicle will pick you up from the Vietnam Expeditions Hanoi office. We’ll then embark on a scenic drive to Yen Thinh – Huu Lung, with a delightful breakfast stop in Met town.
- 09:00 AM: Arrive at the Vietnam Expeditions Huu Lung office. Our friendly guide will greet you, provide all necessary equipment, and give a detailed briefing about the day’s exciting itinerary.
- 09:30 AM: A shuttle vehicle will transfer you to the starting point of our adventure.
- 09:45 AM: Begin your trek into the pristine Huu Lien Special-Use Forest.
- 10:30 AM: Reach the beautiful Khe Dau Waterfall. Take some time to relax, capture stunning photos, and enjoy a refreshing dip in the waterfall’s cool waters.
- 11:00 AM: Collect your SUP boards and begin your exploration of Lan Ty Valley during the high water season.
- Marvel at the submerged forest ecosystem visible through the crystal-clear water.
- Gaze upon the majestic “Eye of the God” (Lan Ty Mountain), resembling a giant watching over the heart of Huu Lung forest.
- 12:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the VNE campsite, taking time to relax and breathe in the fresh, clean air.
- 01:30 PM: Continue paddling your SUP to further explore Lan Ty Lake, or simply enjoy a swim. Feel the unique sensation of tiny fish nibbling at your feet – a natural “fish massage”!
- 03:00 PM: Head to the opposite bank of Lan Ty Lake, return your SUPs, and begin trekking out of the forest.
- 04:00 PM: Exit Lan Ty forest. Our vehicle will then transfer you to the homestay for a refreshing shower and some well-deserved rest.
- 06:00 PM: Savor a delightful dinner at the homestay, featuring authentic local dishes.
- 08:00 PM: Enjoy a fun-filled evening of social interaction with your fellow adventurers. Play “Werewolf,” roast corn and sweet potatoes, and share stories around a cozy fire.
- 10:00 PM: Lights out – get a good night’s rest for tomorrow’s big challenge!

- 07:00 AM: Enjoy a hearty breakfast.
- 08:00 AM: Our vehicle and guide will pick you up from the homestay and take you to the Vietnam Expeditions office. Here, you’ll receive your equipment and a detailed safety briefing for the day’s abseiling adventure.
- 09:00 AM: Depart for Yen Son Heaven’s Gate.
- 09:30 AM: Arrive at the base of Yen Son Heaven’s Gate and begin a light trek through pomelo orchards to reach the “gate.”
- 10:00 AM: Receive thorough instructions on equipment usage and practice essential techniques before officially beginning your abseiling challenge.
- 11:00 AM: Enjoy lunch and take some incredible check-in photos.
- 01:00 PM: Check-in at the mountain peak and begin the thrilling 120-meter abseil down Yen Son Heaven’s Gate!
- 03:30 PM: Trek down the mountain.
- 04:30 PM: Enjoy a light snack before boarding our vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi, concluding your incredible adventure.
