Overview
Lan Ty Valley is located in Huu Lien special-use forest, Huu Lung, Lang Son. Completely isolated from the outside world, the valley will be a jade green lake in the rainy season and turn into a beautiful grassland in the dry season. This place is known as the heart of Huu Lung mountain forest with diverse ecological forests, majestic Khe Dau waterfall in the rainy season, clear blue lake, mysterious Oc cave and especially the eye of the god (Thung mountain). As part of Lang Son geological park, this is a destination that you should not miss when exploring the Northeast mountains and forests.
The day tour will include exploring wild hiking trails, climbing caves, swimming in lakes, enjoying local cuisine and culture and many other exciting experiences.
Itinerary
- 05:30-06:30: Car and tour guide pick you up in Hanoi. You will be prepared breakfast with bread and milk on the car.
- 09:00: The car arrives at Huu Lien forest gate, everyone gets acquainted. The tour guide explains safety rules and things to note. Distributes equipment and drinking water.
- 09:30: The whole group starts trekking through custard apple orchards. Gradually moving away from the village, we will enter deep into Huu Lung nature reserve.
- 11:00: The group arrives at Lan Ty valley. The group will have lunch here with local dishes.
- 13:00: Everyone begins the journey to explore the snail cave. (Everyone must follow the instructions and techniques of the tour guide to ensure their own safety as well as limit negative impacts on the environment in the cave).
- 15:30 Everyone leaves Hang Oc trekking back to the edge of the forest.
- 16:30: The group leaves the forest, rests, has a light meal and an optional cold drink.
- 17:30 bus takes everyone back to Hanoi, end of program.
