- Trekking: Exciting on twisting and bumpy roads, appreciating the brilliant tropical rainforest flora on limestone mountains, listening to the “war of words” of the abundant animal population under the canopy of old woods, and observing the fascinating transformation of flora and wildlife from land to water.
- Abseiling: A rope-based activity that involves traveling from the top of a mountain to a cliff while wearing safety equipment. Standing on the top of Golden Monkey, you can sense the presence of monkeys on the rock and take in the panoramic view of tranquil sea and soaring mountains. Harness, helmets, and technicians will always keep you safe.
- Swimming: Immerse yourself in the clear and calm water of a private lake, splash and play freely, and replenish your energy after a long adventure in the mountains and beneath the sea.
Itinerary
7:45 AM/12:15 PM: Gather at the Cat Ba Pathfinders office to get equipment and learn about the schedule.
8:15 AM/12:45 PM: Trekking: Cross the paths and enter Cat Ba National Forest. Conquer Golden Monkey Peak, where you may enjoy a panoramic view of the saltwater lake.
9:00 AM/1:30 PM: First Abseiling: Challenge yourself by descending from the top of Golden Monkey to the break point (about 40m).
10:00 AM/2:30 PM: During rest time, you can enjoy fruits, cookies, and soft drinks while admiring the breathtaking view. You can also feel the mild sea wind and nature’s breath. Restore your energy for the next voyage.
10:15 AM/14:45 PM: Second Abseiling: Put on the harness again and feel the adrenaline surge as you descend from the high point to the sea (approximately 30m).
11:15 AM/3:40 PM: Relax on the floating raft.
▪ Dive into the refreshing water.
▪ Rent a SUP/kayak for further activities at Hang Vem Lake.
▪ Create and capture wonderful moments with your friend.
12:00 PM/4:30 PM: Pack up personal items. Trekking back to the starting position.
12:30 PM/5:00 PM: The car is waiting at the pickup location. Relive a half-day full of interesting adventures and lasting memories.
When you return to your accommodation, remember to bring memorable Cat Ba memories with you!
